This piece was conceived with a heavy heart as it heavily features religious trauma. The process of this piece was intentionally healing, as I radically let go of my anger & silence about the religion that was forced upon me by tearing the bible & painting over the condescending words with Lilith’s feral & protective form— symbolism of her guidance and care over me.
